🏛Governance 1.0 on Litmus is live! LIT community can now administrate & make decisions over the development of Litmus Network using on-chain and off-chain governance. On-chain governance: Soft/off-chain governance: Propose: *anyone* can propose a referendum by depositing 100 LIT until the proposal passes into a referendum. This proposal to become a referendum will need to gain the highest amount of bonded support from people who agree with the proposal. Vote: Your voting power depends on the number of tokens you lock up and your locking period. The number of votes for each token holder will be calculated as: Votes = tokens * conviction_multiplier p.s. you can still use locked tokens to vote On-Chain and Off-chain Governance: On-chain Gov is powerful because it can directly change Litmus Runtime's code. You need LITs in a Litmus wallet to govern. Off-chain gov is more accessible & encompassing. You only need LIT in an ETH wallet to participate.
