During the PhalaWorld Shell NFT Minting event, the MCP service experienced frequent service outage caused by an overload of traffic, resulting in some users being unable to create aggregated identities and thus unable to mint Shell NFT. There was no security breach nor property loss during the incident. We feel deeply sorry for any inconvenience to PhalaWorld and MCP users.

Thanks to a quick reaction time from our team, the MCP service is now back to normal with reduced time-outs and faster responses. We investigated the issue from different sides and discovered the real cause that comes from the infrastructure configuration. Nethertheless, we understand this is far from an acceptable solution in the short and mid-term. We will continue to investigate service infrastructure optimization and improve performance. We are constantly monitoring our service and are ready to react in the case of any issues.
